First Roman Day

Our first Roman Day proved a huge success. Archaeologist John Smith provided an all day presentation at the Museum on August 20th 2005 dressed in authentic Roman armour and welcomed dozens of visitors. We hope to extend our programme next season to include more exciting events such as these.
