Scientist Robert Boyle would have been proud of our event which attracted a large number of people for afternoon tea at his former schoolroom at Yetminster. The historic building that once educated the boys of the area with a view to preparing them for apprenticeships bears a blue plaque in his honour and ceased to be a boys school after the Second World War. A large number of people from Yetminster, Dorset enjoyed the afternoon recalling their wartime experiences with 14 choosing to take part in individual interviews in the former schoolroom that became the home of Craftytimes Tea Room and the Jolin Gallery, run by Linda and John Powell in recent years.
